Pedestrian, 23, critically injured in Walker hit-and-run crash

WALKER, MI – Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash reported early Wednesday morning that left one person critically injured.

The crash happened sometime between 3:30-4:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the 1700 block of Wilson Avenue NW, Walker police said.

Police say a 23-year-old Walker resident suffered critical injuries when they were hit by a vehicle. The person, who was not identified, was then taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.

Evidence collected at the scene indicated the suspect vehicle to be a 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra. Police believe the suspect vehicle has damage to the passenger side.
