ANN ARBOR, MI - There were five fans ejected from Michigan Stadium during the Wolverines’ 27-24 win over Minnesota on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The ejection numbers, provided by the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security, included four for misuse of an Mcard student identification card.
The only other ejection was for disorderly conduct, police said.
There were 16 medical calls on Saturday for fans, including five that were alcohol-related, police said. Only one of the six emergency transports to the hospital was for alcohol, police said.
There are 68 ejections so far in the 2024 season over the first five out of eight home games. There were 126 ejections in the seven games of the 2023 season, as well as four arrests.
The Wolverines improved to 4-1 with the win over the visiting Golden Gophers. They visit Seattle to face Washington next Saturday and don’t return to Ann Arbor until Oct. 26 against Michigan State.
